Gluten Free: How would a patient who is a student use the GFFS between home and term-time pharmacies?

The patient would have to ask their GP for a second referral form to register for the service at the "Term-time" pharmacy. It is recommended that the "Home" pharmacy has contact with the "Term-time" pharmacy in order to avoid duplication of work e.g. agreeing where and when the annual check up is to be carried out, as the PCR cannot be shared or transferred.

As per the recent circular PCA(P)(2016)13, Scottish Government is currently working to increase CHI capture for the GFFS, and going forward this will aid and inform guidance in situations such as this.
